Ailtire Architects is a boutique architectural studio with a strong focus on heritage, conservation, adaptive re-use, refurbishment and high-end residential projects.
The practice operates across two The scope of our work is diverse from heritage conservation works to refurbishment and new construction projects. Heritage related works are varied from residential projects, and Grade I listed English castles to the world heritage listed Fremantle Prison. New build and refurbishment projects are similarly varied, encompassing schools, industrial maritime sites, town halls, arts centers, restaurant fit outs and quality individual homes and extensions in Australia and the UK.
All work carried out by Ailtire Architects is founded in first principles which are aligned tightly with the terms of the Burra Charter and best conservation practice. We take great pride in our involvement in the conservation and restoration of many built environment projects alongside the cultural heritage conservation associated with these.
The Burra Charter is a document that is intimately known by all members within the practice as a guiding document not only for all investigations and works but for the preparation and delivery of Conservation Management Plans and Strategies provided by Ailtire Architects.
